Post a vacancy

One form, about three minutes. Tell us the role, roughly what it pays and where applications should land. A real person reads every listing before it appears, which is why the board stays clean — no agency spam, no ads for jobs that were filled last month. There is no charge to post.

Write the advert the way you would explain the job to someone at the counter. The listings that get good applicants are the ones that say what the day actually looks like, what shift pattern it is, and whether experience is genuinely required or you are happy to train.

Plain text is fine. Leave a blank line between paragraphs.

This is shown on the listing, so use the inbox you actually read.

Your listing goes to the board for a quick check, then appears on the listings page.

Writing a listing that gets replies

Say what the pay is

Listings with a rate on them get roughly twice the applications. If it depends on experience, give a range and say so.

Be honest about experience

If you will train the right person, say it. If you genuinely need a ticket or a licence, say that too — it saves everyone a wasted phone call.

Name the shift

"Some weekends" and "every Saturday 6am–2pm" attract very different people. Specifics get you the person who can actually do it.
